Math 4803-LEY - Introduction to Algebraic Computation - Spring 2013

The course is an introduction to both established and emerging techniques of algebraic computation and provide a hands-on experience with several computer algebra systems.
Each class period will be divided in two parts: the lecture and either a problem discussion or a tutorial involving computers. Instructions for accessing computer resourses will be posted on the webpage.
- There is no required textbook for this course. Lecture notes will be distributed in class.
- Problem sets will be posted on the webpage.
- Grades will be based on homework assignments and class participation. No exams will be given.
