Welcome to my web page!  I am a PhD student in the School of Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
My most recent project was a small one; it was an attempt to figure out if I was right or left eye dominant using the idea of a stereogram. But I wasn't very successful, I seem to be able to change which eye is dominant at will! Oh well! Another one of my most recent endeavors has been growing wheatgrass on my windowsill. I decided I would rather try to grow it myself than pay an inflated price at a coffee shop just to see if I liked it.  Another project of mine was the creation of a Projective Plane Hat.  To learn more about what a projective plane is, see my page on Knitting One Sided Surfaces.  If you feel like killing some time, I've also written a couple of computer games that are availible on this website, a Java applet that let's you try to solve a maze, and a stand-alone program that simulates a Rubik's Hypercube (like Rubik's Cube, but 4-dimensional).  You can reach me via email at berglund@math.gatech.edu.  Happy surfing!
