Here is a course outline, which explains the objectives of the course, the topics covered and the grading policy. There is also a detailed course calendar that gives the quiz dates, reading assignments and homework assignments ofr the whole course.

This course has five recitation sections, and two weekly reserved sessions in the Skiles computer lab which will be supervised by senior lab TA's. You can find your TA's office hours, office location, etc. on the teaching assistants page.

On the Course Notes page, you will find links to pages of consise course notes that more exactly match the content of the lectures than the text. Many of these pages also contain java applets that you can use to check your homework solutions, or to experiment with the material
