Let { an } and { bn } be the sequences defined by a0 = 2 and b0 = 3 , and an = 1/2 an-1 + 1/2 bn-1 ,
bn = 1/3 an-1 + 2/3 bn-1 .

i)  Find a matrix  A such that  A ( an-1 , bn-1 )T = ( an , bn )T .

ii)  Write ( a0 , b0 )T = ( 2 , 3 )T as  ru + sv , where  u  and  v  are independent eigenvectors of the
      matrix  A .

iii)  Find  an and bn .

iv)  Find the limits of  an and  bn as n increases .
