Test are 1 hour exams and will be over the material covered since the previous exam. There will be no makeups!! The tentative test dates are,

The tests will be graded and passed back the following recitation. The lowest test grade will be dropped. To the average of the above tests will be added a class participation grade of 0,1 or 2 which will be based on homework and class participation. I will assign homework problems between the exams and pick out at least one from each section to be handed in and graded. I encourage you to work together in study groups when doing the homework and studying for exams. The test average and participation grade is the your class average and will count 70% of the grade. The final is comprehensive and will count 30% of the grade. Calculators are NOT allowed to be used during the tests.
