Material to be covered

Grading policy

Homeworks are worth 75% of the grade and the final 25%. You are suppose to work on the homework alone. To get an A you need 85% of the maximum possible grade. To get an B 60% and to get a C 40%.

Exercises

I will suggest exercises for you to practice (they will be posted on the web). These won't be graded. However, to master the material I strongly suggest that you work on them. Work in groups.

Text books

Most of the topics we'll cover can be found in Topology by Munkres or Convexity by Webster. We will not follow them strictly. It is not required that you get books.
