Course Description

Introduction to the geometry and topology of manifolds.

Prerequisites

Calculus and Linear Algebra.

Textbooks

Riemannian Geometry, by Manfredo P. do Carmo, second edition, and A Comprehensive Introduction to Differential Geometry, Volume 1 by Michael Spivak, third edition.

Grading

The grade is based mainly on class participation, and possibly some take home assignments, or individual projects.
