Practice problems for the final exam:

Section 15.8,
     #3,5,7,13
Section 15.9,
     #1,5,9,18
Section 15.10,
     #9,10,11,21,25

(and all the other problems in all the sections!)

Due 30 November:

Section 15.6,
     #1,3,10,17,21
Section 15.7,
     #1,4,10,19 23

Contest: The best picture of a snake with ParametricPlot3D will
win a prize! Deadline: 17 Nov. ***extended to 22 November***

The next computer project will be due 27 November.
The computer project teams must be chosen by 3 November,
and none of your previous partners can work with you again
(there will be a grade penalty for violating this rule). There should be
at least 3 and no more than 5 on a team.

The second computer project is Multiple Integration - Changes of
Variables, beginning on p. 158 of Calculus Projects using Mathematica
(as before, you are welcome to do the project
instead with Maple or other software, if you prefer.)

You should do all four exercises, but:

in problems 2-3, the region should be bounded by:
        y = 2 Sqrt(x)
        y = Sqrt(2 x)
        y = 2 - 2 x
        y = 8 - 2 x

In addition to calculations, there should be a verbal description of what
you are doing. The presentation will count in your grade.

                y = 2x^2 - 5
        P. 142, Ex 1, but change to objective function f(x,y) = x^2 + 2 y^2
