Homework 1 due on Thursday, January 18th: for Section 1.1, 1.2 on pages 11 - 14, #1, 4, 9, 19, 20, 30, 31. For Section 1.3 on pages 24 - 27, #3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 17, 20, 21. Write up and hand in your own solutions for the even numbered problems. For full credit, be sure to explain how your arrived at the answer.

The office hour from Thursday, Jan. 16th, has been moved to Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 - 4:30.

Homework 2 due on Thursday, January 25th: for Section 1.4 on pages 34 - 36, #1, 4, 7, 10, 12, 13, 17, 23, 27. For Section 4.1 on pages 208 - 210, #1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 14, 15, 19. Please write up and hand in your own solutions for the even numbered problems. For full credit, be sure to explain how your arrived at the answer.

Homework 3 will not be collected. For Section 4.2 on pages 219 - 220, solve #1, 11, 13. For Section 5.5 on pages 277-278, solve #1, 3, 7, 9.

Midterm 1 will be on Thursday, February 1st. It will cover Sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 4.1, 4.2, and 5.5.

There will be extra office hours on Wednesday, January 31st from 4 - 6PM.

Homework 4 due on Thursday, February 15th: for Section 8.1 on pages 396 - 397, #4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16. For Section 8.2 on page 401, #2, 3, 5, 6. Please write up and hand in your own solutions for the even numbered problems. For full credit, be sure to explain how your arrived at the answer.

Homework 5 due on Thursday, February 22nd: For Section 8.3 on page 403, #3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 12. for Section 8.4 and 8.5 on pages 410 - 411, #3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11. Homework 6 will not be collected. For Section 9.1 on pages 417-418, solve #1,3,5. For Section 9.2 on pages 431 - 432, solve #1,2,5,9,11.

Midterm 2 will be on Thursday, March 1st. It will cover Sections 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 9.1, and 9.2.

There will be extra office hours on Wednesday, February 28th from 4- 6pm. There will be no office hour on Thursday, March 1st.

The extra office hours on Wednesday, February 28th have been moved to 5 - 7pm.

Homework 9 due on Thursday, April 5th: for Section 11.1 on pages 518 - 520, #2, 7, 8. For Section 11.2 on page 528 - 530, #1, 3, 9, 12, 14. For Section 11.3 on page 537 - 540, #5, 6, 7, 8, 30. For Section 11.5 on page 562 - 564, #1, 3, 12. Please write up and hand in your own solutions for the even numbered problems. For full credit, be sure to explain how your arrived at the answer.

Exam 3 will be on Thursday, April 12th. It will cover Sections 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 and the definition of Hamiltonian cycle / path from 10.5.

There will be extra office hours on Wednesday, April 11th from 3:30 - 5:30PM.

Homework 10 will not be collected. For Section 11.4 on pages 553 - 556, solve #3, 5, 7, 9, 17, 19.
