Visiting GA Tech
Wolfgang Döblin (1915) -- Vincent Doblin (1940)
Harrie Willems visited and presented the movie he co-authored
with Agnes Handwerk entitled: "Wolfgang Doeblin - a mathematician rediscovered"
at Georgia Tech
in the Clary Theater of the Bill Moore Student Success Center.
The documentary tells the story of the mathematician Wolfgang Döblin and his famous
manuscript "On Kolmogorov's equation", which
laid dormant for 60 years and finally opened
in May 2000.
Here is a poster of the presentation,
and a few links on this fascinating story.
