This term we will be using Piazza for class discussion. The system is catered to getting you help fast and efficiently from classmates and myself. Rather than emailing questions just to me, I encourage you to post your questions on Piazza. If you have any problems or feedback for the developers, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Find our class page at: https://piazza.com/gatech/fall2012/math4802
The class will be available on a pass/fail only basis.
To receive a passing grade, enrolled students will be required to take the Putnam Exam,
to show up regularly for and participate in class, and to make an effort to solve a number of homework problems
during the course of the semester. The 2012 Putnam Exam will take place on Saturday December 1 from 10am to 6pm with a 2-hour lunch break in the middle.
