Class attendance policy: I have been asked to inform Karen Pierce if you miss a class on Monday. The program coordinator informed me that they will "track you down" and make sure you are OK and let you know they expect you to attend every class.

I have also been asked to inform the program coordinator if you miss a lot of classes or if you are performing poorly.

I will take roll in class and comply with these requests. In short, students are expected to attend all class meetings.

Students that miss a large number of classes or are habitually late will not receive any kind of class curved grade at the end of the semester. A "large number" of classes is deliberately not defined and is totally subject to instructor discretion. Students are responsible for all in class announcements and material covered.

Dates of Exams (tentative):

Exam 1 June 3 (W)
Exam 2 July 1 (W)
Final Exam Monday July 27, 8:30-11:30

Exams are cumulative.

No books, notes, calculators, or electronic devices may be used during exams.

Policy on missed exams: Official written excuse required.

Students are required to follow the Georgia tech honor code which may be found at: Link to GT code

Students are allowed to collaborate on out of class assignments but must include specific attribution to any help they received. Work turned in must be your own work not copied from anywhere else (including solution manuals) and you must state what type of assistance you received while completing the assignment.

You should not consult with anyone or look at another students work while taking an exam.
