• The numbers in problem 6 (above) are absurd. Fix up this problem, both in terms of nutrients per oz. of food, and in terms of total food intake per day. Make the total food intake somewhere between 2000 and 4000 calories -- Note Carb = 4 cal/gr, Protein = 4 cal/gr, Fat = 9cal/gr. Use a resonable ration of carbs/protein/fat, and look up the correct nutriennts in the food items in the The USDA nutrient data base You may substitute the foods to those of your liking, but include one meat/fish etc., one starch and one vegie.
