Mayya Zhilova

I am an assistant professor in the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My primary research interests lie in the areas of mathematical statistics and probability theory, particularly in statistical inference for complex high-dimensional data. My current research is focused on probablistic and statistical properties of resampling procedures for high-dimensional data in presence of modelling errors in statistical models.

I received my PhD in mathematical statistics from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2015, and diploma in mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2010. Before joining Georgia Tech I worked as a researcher at the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics in Berlin from 2011 till 2016.
