Mayya Zhilova

Hello, welcome to my webpage!

My name is Mayya, I am an assistant professor at the School of Mathematics, and an affiliated member of the Machine Learning Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I received PhD in statistics from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2015, and diploma in mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2010.

My primary research interests lie in the areas of mathematical statistics, statistical learning theory, and uncertainty quantification, particularly in statistical inference for complex high-dimensional data, performance of resampling procedures for various classes of problems, functional estimation, and inference for misspecified models.

I would like to thank the National Science Foundation Division of Mathematical Sciences for supporting my work with the Standard and CAREER Awards. Further information about my research is available here and in the CV.
