by Thomas, Weir, Hass (12th Edition); Addison-Wesley, 2010. You are suppose to use the customized version for GT 1501-1502
available only on campus. You will only need the access code for this course, which has access to MyMathLab with homework
and the e-book.

Homework: Thre are two components of Homework: 1) On-line Homework through MyMathLab;
2) Regular homework will be assigned once a week on course webpage (This page) and they will not be collected.
However, it is strongly recommended to work out every problem in the assignments
before each quiz, since quiz problems are very similar to homework problems.
Quizes & Tests
There will be 8 quizes based on homework assignments in recitation class, one in-class midterm and one final exam
Academic Honesty
All student are expected to comply with the Institute's Honor Code (http://www.osi.gatech.edu/plugins/content/index.php?id=46).
Evidence of cheating or other violations of the Honor code will be referred to the Office of Student Integrity.
Grading: Grades will be based on the exams and quizes, and on-line homework. Your best seven quizes count for 20%;  
on-line homework couts for 10%, in-class midterms count for 30%; the final exam counts for 40%.
Curves: Curves will be determined by the median of each recitation section at the end of semester according to the final grade distribution.
