About me

I am a postdoctoral fellow at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany.

Previously, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Zorn Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University

I was a graduate student at Louisiana State University, working with Scott Baldridge and (unofficially) Shea Vela-Vick.

My research interests lie in low-dimensional topology and contact and symplectic topology. Currently, I'm mainly focused on trisections of 4-manifolds.

In August, I spoke at the London Mathematical Society's Durham Symposium on "Pseudoholomorphic curves and gauge theory in low-dimensional topology". You can find a video of my talk here.
