Sarah Fletcher

I am currently a second year Ph.D. student in the Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization program through Georgia Tech's Math Department. I did my undergraduate work at Harvey Mudd College.

I coorganize the ACO Student Seminar with Steven Ehrlich.

While at Mudd I was an official grader/tutor for a variety of classes including Real Analysis and Abstract Algebra.

I am one of Xingxing Yu's students and am interested in structural graph theory.

The agreement number of tree societies (with C. Hardin and F. Su), submitted to the Journal of Graph Theory. This is based partly on work from my undergraduate thesis.
In 2008 my MCM team (me, David Morrison, Fred Johnson) received an Outstanding for our paper Taking the mystery out of Sudoku difficulty: an oracular model, The UMAP Journal 29.3 (2008), pp 325-339.
