My research program applies a theoretical background to analyze existing models for physical phenomena through a combinatorial or probabilistic lens. Through the NSF-funded IMPACT program at Georgia Tech, I realigned my research to focus on problems in discrete math and molecular biology. Moving forward, my interdisciplinary projects evaluate aspects of RNA folding as well as first passage percolation, a model for fluid flow and biological growth. I am on the job market this year. For more details on my research, see my research page.
