We will study a number of topics in Riemannian Geometry, including a selection from the second half of do Carmo's book.
Prerequisites
Math 6455 or some familiarity with basic Riemannian geometry.
Textbooks
Instructor's notes and Riemannian Geometry by Manfredo Do Carmo.
Grading
The grade is based mainly on class participation (the students are expected to attend all lectures) and there might be some homework assignments as well.
