Books

"Linear algebra with applications" 5th edition. By Otto Bretscher. We will cover the whole book.


Grading policy

There will be two homeworks. Each will be worth 20% of the grade. The first homework will be due on September 27. The second on November 8. Each homework is to be considered a practice exam for the two in class exams, on October 4 and on November 15. These exams together will be worth 40% of the grade (20% each). The homework is to be done individually. There will be a final during the final period (December 11, 2:50p to 5:40p) worth 20% of the grade. A = 90% or more, B = 80% to 89%, C = 70% to 79%, D = 60% to 69%, F= below 60%.
